Billy J Brown II: Author and Motivational Speaker 

Billy is a much sought after motivational speaker and the internationally published author of Rising From The Ashes from Daphne, AL. He has spoken in front of audiences around the world and has helped them to make instant shifts in their beliefs to make lasting change.

Billy attended an event 3 years ago that changed his life and learned he had much to share with the public. By sharing his story of how he suffered 3rd degree burns over 65% of his body at the age of two, he hopes the story of his journey will impact others to make lasting changes to better their lives. During the years to come, he took notice of how people treated him based on outward appearance and then adapted his approach to gain acceptance. He discovered he had to ‘own’ himself and be happy with who he was regardless of his outward appearance.

Billy has a passion to help youth and adults take control of their lives despite present situations and circumstances to become their best selves. His desire is to leave them better than when he encountered them. Rising From the Ashes gives the audience a glimpse at how Billy turned tragedy into victory as he shares his story and tools that can be applied to any life to make lasting change.

Joe Lavelle: intrepidNOW Healthcare

Joe is a Healthcare Management and Technology Consultant with a record of successfully meeting the business and technology challenges of diverse organizations including health plans, health delivery networks, and health care companies for 25 years. Joe worked his way up through Cap Gemini and Andersen Consulting to the partner/VP level of at First Consulting Group, Technology Solutions Group and Santa Rosa Consulting.

Judy Hooton: Southeast Eye Specialists 

Judy completed her undergraduate work at Auburn University in 1984 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Service Administration. She went on to complete her Master’s in Education in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University in 1991. Judy has worked in medical practice management and business development for over 25 years. In her tenure in medical practice management, Judy has worked in practice operations and consulting, human resource management, financial management and cost accounting, management reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and medical billing. Judy is currently Business Development Manager with Southeast Eye Specialists, a medical and surgical referral practice located throughout east Tennessee.

In her role with business development, Judy manages physician relations and calls on eye doctors in her region, develops physician network marketing strategy and network expansion opportunities, manages network physician communications and publications, monitors physician referrals, develops and implements referring doctor programs, and manages continuing education programs for referring physicians.
 

Ashleigh L. McKenzie: MDreferralPRO, LLC

Ashleigh serves as the President of MDreferralPRO, a Healthcare IT company whose mission is to help healthcare organizations grow through insights and tangible results. Ashleigh has a demonstrated ability of working through challenges with executives, middle managers and front line consultants and has over a decade of experience in corporate management, consulting and physician services. To provide clients with exceptional results she combines a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with a true passion for innovation and targeted services.  

She served as a board member for the American College of Healthcare Executives – Alabama Chapter for four years and has served for other civic organizations, but currently finds joy outside of MDreferralPRO as an active board member of AHERO (American Heroes Enjoying Recreation Outdoors.)

Ashley Pollard: Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates

In 2015, Ashley Pollard took on the role of Practice Liaison and Events Supervisor for the largest gastroenterology practice in the country, Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. After a decade of working in a myriad of industries, she relishes the challenge of working on the business side of healthcare. By partnering with the public and referring physicians, she has expanded AGA’s physician liaison team and helped increase on-the-ground marketing efforts. Ashley has a degree in psychology from The University of Georgia as well as an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University.

In her free time, she enjoys walks with her puppy, Sophie, aqua aerobics, traveling and cooking.

Dusty Smith, MD: Surgical Association of Mobile, P.A.

Dr. Dusty Smith joined Surgical Association of Mobile (SAMPA) in July 2012. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the Christian Medical and Dental Association, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of Mobile County.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, fishing, tubing, and biking. She and her husband, Craig, have 3 daughters who keep them extremely busy.

As business development director, Mercedes is responsible for planning and leading comprehensive marketing strategies in support of business goals and objectives at this physician led and managed health system.
 

 
Victoria Stankoski: Wed With Style, LLC 

Vicki is lead stylist and designer at Wed With Style. She works with brides all over the Southeastern Gulf Coast to make their big day the unforgettable wedding event they have always dreamt of. Most recently, she has been working with other wedding and event vendors to create beautiful styled shoots as inspiration for current trends and design ideas for today’s weddings. Some of these collaborations can be found in publications as such as Gulf Coast Bride, The Southeastern Bride and Southern Style Weddings.
